Welcome to eGuru Academy (the “Platform”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at https://eguru.it.com (the “Site”), any mobile or web application (if offered), and all features, subdomains, content, products, services, and solutions made available through the Platform in any mode, medium, or format (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and other referenced policies. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1) Who These Terms Apply To

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including without limitation: (i) content providers/instructors who create or make available educational content (“Instructors” or “Content Providers”), and (ii) learners who access the Platform to learn a subject or skill (“Learners”), and (iii) any other visitor or user (collectively, “you”, “your”, or “Users”). These Terms are to be read with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cookies Policy (if any), User Guidelines, and any other rules, notices, or updates that we may publish on the Platform from time to time (collectively, the “Platform Terms”).

2) About eGuru Academy and the Platform

eGuru Academy is an online learning platform operated from Bangladesh. The Platform enables Instructors to create and publish educational content (including, without limitation, video/audio lessons—live or recorded—text materials, ebooks, assignments, and assessments) and make such content available to Learners, including through free and/or paid offerings. We may also offer ancillary services such as doubt-solving, live mentorship, mock tests, question banks, webinars, events (online/offline), discussion forums, and community features.

3) Account Creation, Eligibility & Access

  • You may browse certain areas of the Site without registration. To access paid or restricted features, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • Age Requirements: The Platform is intended for users who are 18 years or older. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian (“Parent”). By allowing a minor to use the Platform, the Parent agrees to these Terms on the minor’s behalf.
  • We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate access if: (a) we believe the information provided is inaccurate, (b) age requirements are not met, (c) there is a violation of Platform Terms, or (d) we are required to do so by law.
  • You must use a compatible device and reliable internet connection to access the Platform. Supported/compatible devices and software may change over time.

4) Use of the Platform & Acceptable Conduct

  • All content you access is for your personal, non-commercial use only, unless otherwise expressly authorized in writing by eGuru Academy.
  • You agree not to reproduce, redistribute, screen-record, download, publicly display, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any content, except as expressly permitted.
  • You agree not to upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available any material that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable, or that violates any third-party rights or applicable laws.
  • You agree not to use automated systems (robots, spiders, scrapers) that send more requests to our servers than a human can reasonably produce in the same period using a conventional web browser.
  • You may post reviews or comments where allowed, provided such content complies with these Terms and applicable laws. We may moderate or remove content at our discretion.

5) Purchases, Subscriptions, and Access

  • Pricing, access period, features, and benefits of a course, ebook, or service will be displayed at the point of purchase. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the applicable fees via approved payment gateways.
  • Access is granted only to the purchasing account for the specified period (if any) and must not be shared or resold. We may revoke or limit access for violations of the Platform Terms.
  • Streaming/video quality may vary based on your device, bandwidth, and other technical constraints. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

6) Payments, Taxes & Refunds

  • All fees are payable in advance (unless otherwise specified) and may be subject to applicable taxes. If a recurring plan is offered and you authorize us, we may charge your saved payment method at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
  • We may use third-party payment processors. Their terms and privacy policies will apply in addition to ours. We are not responsible for errors or acts/omissions of third-party processors.
  • Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy. Please read it carefully before purchasing.

7) User-Generated Content (UGC) & Instructor Content

  • Your UGC: You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant eGuru Academy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works for the purposes of operating, promoting, improving the Platform, complying with law, and supporting our business (including backups, analytics, security, and service delivery). You also grant other Users a limited license to access and view your content as enabled by Platform features.
  • Instructor Content: Instructors are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and quality of the content they publish. Instructors warrant they have all necessary rights and permissions. We may remove or restrict content that violates the Platform Terms or applicable law.

8) Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logos, trademarks, software, and all eGuru Academy-owned materials (“eGuru Content”) are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you shall not use, copy, modify, create derivative works, distribute, or exploit any eGuru Content or third-party content on the Platform.

9) Communications & Notices

By providing contact information, you consent to receive transactional messages (e.g., service announcements, billing notices) via email/SMS/phone or in-app notifications. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time. For assistance, contact support@eguru.it.com.

10) Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EGURU ACADEMY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

11) Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EGURU ACADEMY, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE PLATFORM OR CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

12) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless eGuru Academy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your use of the Platform, (ii) your violation of the Platform Terms, (iii) your violation of any third-party right, or (iv) any UGC you submit.

13) Suspension, Availability & Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire Platform at any time with or without notice. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or upgrades. We are not liable for any unavailability or downtime.

14) Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account by contacting support@eguru.it.com. Deleting your account may permanently remove access to purchased content and may not be reversible. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangladesh for any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform.

16) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date may be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
